Pitch Wars is coming at us fast. I wanted to give some reminders.

The mentors’ picks must have their three sentence pitch (50 words) and first 250 words (total word count is 300 max) to their mentors by January 16.

Alternates must have their 35 word (no more) pitch and first 250 words to the contest email brendadrakecontests@gmail.com by January 20. Make sure to format your pitch like this:

NAME: Your Name
MENTOR:Your Mentor’s full name
TITLE: The Title
GENRE: MG Fantasy
WORD COUNT: Number of words in the manuscript, rounded to the nearest thousand

PITCH: Your 35 word (max) pitch.

The first 250 words (max) of your manuscript. No indentions. One space between paragraphs. Times New Roman 12pt. Please make sure the formatting is done correctly.
