Today’s coffee is just straight from the pot. That’s how it’ll be most of NaNoWriMo because I’ll be stuck at my desk writing. To kick off the first day of NaNoWriMo, Summer over at …and this time, concentrate! blog is hosting the Writing Space Blogfest “–in which we all share photos of our writing spaces, whether it be a desk, a couch, a coffee shop, a pad of paper–whatever.” So head on over here and check out other writer friends’ work spaces.
Good luck to everyone participating in NaNoWriMo and if you want to buddy me, go here .
So here’s my space. It’s a dual desk. My side is on the left and my husband’s is on the right with the huge screen. He doesn’t write, he does scientific stuff I don’t understand. I can’t wait to see where everyone else writes.
Good luck with Nano, I hope you get off to a great start.
Oh that’s fun! I’m always curious where others write. I know I’m weird. Mine is at the dining room table lol. I dream of my own office! A girl can dream lol.
Wow, that’s tidy!! Mine is WAY more cluttered than that!
Good luck with NaNo… have you started yet?
Very tidy, and geez…I couldn’t imagine sharing a space with my husband. We’re in the same room, but definitely different desks. You’re better than I!
Thanks for participating!
It is very tidy. I am getting a complex.
How funny, yeah it’s tidy, only because I just had a party the day before and I busted my butt cleaning up. By the end of the week, it’ll be back to a disaster. LOL Thanks everyone – I did start NaNo at Mid-night last night and only got 390 words. My brain was fried. I’ll start again in a minute. π
Great space — and I think it’s wonderful you can share it with your hubby. A science-minded guy with a creative lady…sounds like me and my significant other. But we could NEVER share a desk. I need more clutter around me than he can handle!
Thanks for sharing!
Very nice writing space I love it! Best of luck during NaNo!
Oooh, your desk is very official looking! I bet you can get a lot of work done there π Good luck!
Extremely organized …. Did you read my last weeks design tip? That’s what I wrote about … organization … to have a clean space to write.
Good luck with NaNo, Brenda.
Michael
Nice clean desk! Good luck with Nano! π
It’s very neat and tidy!
BUT, there is NO WAY I could share even a room with someone else, let lane that desk space. The first time he made a noise, movement, or BUMPED my chair…I’d KILL. π
I’m Nano-ing too…good luck!
In the photo the chairs look kind of close but they’re pretty far apart. I put my head phones on and I can’t hear a thing. If we didn’t have our spaces together we’d never see each other LOL!
You share a desk? That is awesome! You can both be working and still be close. Great idea.
Hope day1 of NaNo is going well for you so far.. The NaNo site HATES me right now.
Nice space! Kudos to you for sharing with your husband.
Good luck with NaNo! I hope everything’s off to a great start!
Your desk is so organized! I love that. Neatness makes me write better bc I’m less distracted. Good luck on Nano!
Very tidy, neutral and businesslike I think. Good luck with NaNo. I’ve buddied up with you – i’m parisden. Day two…
Nice natural light! My space feels like a cave in comparison!
Thanks for sharing.
Do you guys actually work at the same time there? I think I would feel paranoid. lol I’m not sure, I just do. hahaha
These writing spaces are wonderful!
All the best on NaNo! I love your writing space! π
Ah, I like that your desk and your husband’s are together!!
Good luck with NaNo – I can just see you working away at that desk!
HI Brenda,
I just wanted to drop you a note. I have an award for you. Please stop by my blog.
I also did a revise on my logline. I would your opinion on it.
Michael
I should have taken a picture of the other side of the room where there are five picture windows. We live in the foothills and from those windows we have a view of all of Albuquerque. At night Albuquerque’s famous millions of lights twinkle below us. We have 360 degrees views from all around our house of the land of enchantment. That’s why we have to have our backs to it — they’d totally distract us. But when we’re stuck or just tired we can swivel around and see the beauty! π
Lovely space! Great blog, too…:)
