Kimberly Torne is a children’s book writer, three-time PitchWars mentor, and a long-time publishing minion. She has worked in publishing as a literary agent assistant, freelance editor, and in various jobs at publishers since 2008. Currently, she works in production at Macmillan and has a mystery chapter book series coming out from Little Bee Books in 2019. After calling France, Australia, and Quebec home, she settled in Brooklyn with her fluffy white dog, Boo. She enjoys horror movies, crying over beautifully written books and poetry, doodling, and strongly believes Montreal bagels are better than New York ones (sorry).
