Ava Reid was born in Manhattan and raised right across the river in Hoboken, New Jersey, but currently lives in Palo Alto, where the weather is too sunny and the people are too friendly. She has a degree in political science from Barnard College, with a focus on religion and ethnonationalism. Her debut novel, The Wolf and the Woodsman, will release from Harper Voyager US and Del Rey UK in 2021.
