Pitch Wars 2020 Mentor Blog Hop!

Friday, 11 September 2020  |  Posted by Brenda Drake

Welcome to the mentors’ wishlist blog hop! From today until the submission form for Pitch Wars goes live on September 27, use the linkies below to hop to all the mentors’ websites/blogs to read their bios, wishlists, and what categories and genres they want to mentor.

For those unfamiliar with Pitch Wars, it’s a mentoring program where published/agented authors, editors, or interns choose one writer each, read their entire manuscript, and offer suggestions on how to make the manuscript shine. The mentee then revises their manuscript for about three months under the guidance of their mentor. The mentor also critiques his/her writer’s pitch and query letter to get it ready for the agent showcase in February. You can find our schedule in the footer of this site.

And here are your 2020 mentors…

Please be respectful to our mentors. Only ask brief questions on their sites and on social media and do not ask for feedback or for them to go to links to read stuff. And remember, Pitch Wars has an Anti-bullying Policy.

Any person requiring special accommodations to participate in any part of Pitch Wars due to a disability may arrange for accommodations by contacting pitchwars@gmail.com.

Here is a simple Google spreadsheet listing the mentors’ genres for easier accessibility. Please understand that this spreadsheet may have errors and is best used as a jumping off point. Mentors go into more detail about their likes, dislikes, subgenres, and editing style on their wishlist posts on their own sites linked below.
