Kristin Lambert‘s first Young Adult novel THE BOY IN THE RED DRESS, a historical mystery set in 1929 New Orleans, released in May 2020 from Viking/Penguin Teen. She grew up the perpetual new kid in a series of small Southern towns, where her first stop was always the local library to see if they had any Nancy Drew mysteries. She attended the University of Alabama, where she made a detailed study of local speakeasies. (Also, journalism.) She adores live music, red shoes, David Bowie, and rainbows. She still lives in the South with her husband, two daughters, two terrible cats, an absolutely perfect dog, and several possibly haunted dolls.
