Grace Li grew up in a small town in Texas as the eldest daughter of two scientists. She is a graduate of Duke University, where she studied biology and creative writing, and is currently in medical school at Stanford University. She has been a literary agent intern, a high school teacher in the Bronx, and a frequenter of the best desserts in New York City (rec: the ube cheesecake from Keki Modern Cakes!) before she made the move to Northern California.
Her writing has been recognized by the Saturday Evening Post Great American Fiction Contest and Stanford’s Paul Kalanithi Writing Award, and has been published in Hyphen Magazine and the Intima. She is represented by Hannah Fergesen of KT Literary. Say hi on Twitter at @gracedli!
