Gabriela Martins is a Brazilian author and linguist, obsessed with cats and ‘00s music. She has been a high school teacher for the past decade, and as a TED Ed-Club facilitator, she helped teens develop their own talks in TED format and present to audiences, including a presentation on a TED stage during TED Weekend. She edited and self-published a pro-bono LGBTQ+ anthology (KEEP FAITH) with all funds going to queer people in need. On YouTube (/c/GabrielaMartinsWrites), she posts videos helping upcoming and established authors. She also hosts monthly webinars, with themes ranging from Linguistics in Fiction to Self-Care for Writers.
