It’s Banned Books Week. So I thought it would be a wonderful idea to celebrate a book from one of my fellow bloggers, Heather McCorkle. I’m doing this here on my blog and on the DNA Writers blog here. That’s right, I’m giving away two copies of Heather’s book and you can enter to win one here and enter to win one on the DNA Writers’ blog.
Here’s something about Heather’s book …
Channelers are tied to the fate of the world. As the world slowly dies, so do they—and they alone have the power to stop the destruction of Earth. Now, Eren learns she not only lives among them, but she is one. When she meets local boy Aiden, his charm convinces her that being a channeler may not be all bad.
If you don’t win a copy here you can buy it here:
Amazon
Barnes & Noble
The Book Depository

I read Hunger Games and I’m lost on why it is banned. Twilight, well, I don’t think it should be banned so I’ll leave off with commenting there.
After reading the blurb for Heather’s book, I’m lost of the “why” behind the ban.
I follow here and I’m sitting here thinking if I ever publish my book, EVERVEIL, it is sure to get banned. Sheesh.
I’m determined to win a copy of Heather’s book, so I’m commenting here. I’ve already commented on the DNA Writers blog. 😀
Seeing Twilight on the list always makes me giggle.
I don’t know if this contest is over but I like to be entered!

It drives me crazy that they put Harry Potter up there!
The Secret of Spruce Knoll sounds awesome!
Banning books seems so silly. It’s almost like a badge of honor now, though.
If the contest is still running, I’d love to be entered! peggyeddleman (at) yahoo (dot) com
Thank you all for entering for a chance to win Heather McCorkle’s The Secret of Spruce Knoll. I’ve drawn a winner from Random.org and will post the winner shortly. <3
I can’t believe Brave New World is on that list. That’s such an amazing and thought provoking novel. Huxley is one of my favorites and I ALWAYS recommend that book to people. I cannot believe they would attempt to ban it.
