Pitch:

Marrying her college sweetheart was not part of Andy’s plan. Neither was fleeing two months after the wedding. Ten years later, her plan is back on track, but before she can become partner and move forward with her Ken-doll almost-fiancé, she needs to handle one pesky thing—all six feet, four inches of unnervingly sexy estranged husband. Back in a town she hates full of people who hate her right back, Andy’s forced to face her demons and decide if perfect is really all it’s cracked up to be.

Excerpt:

Andy was a bitch. Everybody knew it, including Andy. But as the rooster tail of dust behind her Porsche Boxster followed her into Allington, she couldn’t have cared less. She’d been all sugar and no spice for a long time, and it had gotten her a whole lot of fuck-all. Now she was living her dreams, so god bless bitchiness. There was only one small hitch still left in her perfect plan, and that hitch happened to live here, smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Exactly where she’d come from and sworn she wouldn’t ever return.

Andy pushed her sunglasses up on her head to get a better look as the town came into view, and put her Louboutin stiletto on the brake. She brushed her dark blowout over one shoulder, and looked down the valley over her past. It looked just like she remembered. Too small, too tidy, too tame.

Allington was a college town in southern Oregon, just close enough to California to make the locals nervous and just far enough away from the ocean that there was no reason to be here if you didn’t have to be. Right now, in the summer, almost all of the students were gone and the place was nearly deserted.
