New Moon

Okay, It’s not Friday morning, I missed posting something for good reason. I did have a skinny carmel latte on Friday, though. It was yummy! I have only three words to say about the delay–New Moon hangover. Yes, I had to go. My girls took up almost an entire row. I almost switched from Team Edward to Team Jacob, but I just couldn’t do it. Edward is my type of guy . . .er. . . vampire!

The movies never give as many details as the books they were based on do. Still, it’s fun to see it play out on the big screen. I have a few friends who will never read the books or go to the movies–it’s just not their scene. Every so often, a literary minded person does cross over to the Twilight side, and the proof is in this article written in the Washington Post (thanks to Connie for this one):

That said, I totally loved the movie. I cried for Jacob . . . so sad. I think Bella should totally two-time them. I know I would. It’s just that, on the one hand, you have a handsome-old soul-debenair-type and on the other hand, you have a hot-buffed-beautiful-animal-type. What else would a girl want? Well obviously, to turn into a blood sucking vampire. Jeesh, what was I thinking? It has to be Edward.

Favorite line in New Moon: I cannot be without you, but I will not destroy your soul. ~ Edward. How sweet is that? He doesn’t want her to lose her soul for him. Aw.

Anyway, it’s late at night, and I’m definitely not drinking coffee but something else (hint this puts me to sleep instead of waking me up). Until next week, that’s it. Slurp!

  • An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a coworker who was conducting a little homework on this. And he in fact bought me dinner because I found it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending some time to discuss this issue here on your web page.
