Gail Zhuang Schmidt immigrated to the U.S. from China when she was six. In third grade, she began writing stories in a spiral-bound notebook, and never looked back. She enjoys visiting museums with her husband, trying new restaurants, and dreaming up new worlds. At home, she attends to her tuxedo cat Marie, the president of her household. Gail is currently represented by Adria Goetz of Martin Literary Management.
