Get your 35-word pitch ready for a mega pitch event with Entangled Publishing. On Monday, July 16 at 10:00 AM EDT, we’ll accept 200 pitches in the comments of the official submission post. The comments will be on moderation and won’t be seen until they’ve cleared an inspection to make sure each entry falls into a category that Entangled publishes. Once posted, the below listed editors at Entangled will read the pitches and request to read more on the ones that interest them.
Go to Entangled Publishing’s site to find out more about the editors and their likes.
This pitch event is for finished manuscripts. You may only pitch one (1) manuscript. Make sure to read about the editors and lines to find out if your story is a fit for Entangled Publishing.

Special Call for Submissions

Don’t forget to leave some love or questions in the comments!
O.o 😀 Such a fantastic idea/contest. Sounds like a blast and I’m off to polish a pitch for the novel I’m polishing. Thanks for hosting, and thanks to the folks at Entangled for participating!
Yay Entangled! I love these guys. Thanks for hosting!
I suppose Heather is the go to for Younger YA, or ‘upper’ MG–where the protagonist is just about to turn thirteen? thanks–I shared this.
Not sure if a budding romance is along the lines of entangled pub. But the fiction is a supernatural, mystery, adventure. I’ll keep reading blog & web site. Thanks again.
So this is pretty much for romance writers or books with strong romantic elements? I saw one of the editors is interested in 20th century historicals, but mine are more straight historical and only have some romantic elements as part of the overall story.
Good luck guys 🙂 I’m definitely out of the running for this one (no romance for me!), but I’ll be lurking and cheering from the sidelines!
Great opportunity!
Brenda, I tagged you in the Be Inspired blog hop. It’s promotional and lets you gush about one of your books, so it’s pretty awesome. http://kellyhashway.blogspot.com/2012/06/be-inspired.html
this is a great oppoutunity. Thanks!
Oh I’m so excited for this! Thanks so much for the opportunity 😀
Marking my calendar 🙂
Getting everything ready now!
This sounds like great fun…good success everyone!
I spoke to Adrien at Entangled about the romance. He said that there should be a definite relationship trend, even if it’s not full-on romance. And for YA and MG, a budding romance.

Brenda, thank you so much for doing this! I was wondering, if an editor at Entangled already has my full MS, does that mean I shouldn’t enter the contest?
Can”t wait!

Hi Brenda,
Thanks for reposting my submission. I also posted it on July 16, but don’t see either post. What do I do now?
Again, thanks so much for this opportunity.
It’s posted to the correct post.
Brenda, do you have any idea of a time frame for when the editors plan to make their requests (if any)?
They have a week to read the entries, so by the beginning of next week.
If you’ve pitched to Entangled before in a pitch contest, but have since revamped the pitch can we enter in this new contest?
If they didn’t request pages and reject the ms, then yes, go ahead and pitch.
Brenda,
A huge thanks for doing this. It’s been fun to watch and read as posts come through. Looking forward to the next week as editors go through the pitches! Love seeing what stuck me vs. what stuck them.
You’ve already got 203 pitches, does this mean it’s closed now?
I’m taking entries up to 207 since I have some extra comments in the post to clarify entries.
Thanks, Brenda. I saw the Tweet that you were closing at 209 submissions. 😀
Is the contest now closed since there are already 203 entries?
Ooops! Sorry for the repeat question. I didn’t realize it went though the first time.
Hello Brenda!
Thank you so much for putting all this together and taking the time to answer everyone’s questions. I just wanted to ask where the editors will be posting their decisions once they’re finished? Will there be a post announcing the ones chosen? Or will the authors been contacted some other way?
Thank you again for your time!
Airicka
It’ll be announced on a separate post. Adrien will be critiquing on the submission post all the entries.
Thank you! 🙂
Am I correct in assuming that requests for more pages will come via a replies to the pitches? Or do I need to get an email address up there tout suite?
Thanks.
I will have a post with requests and instructions after the editors read through the comments.
Thank you, Brenda for putting this together…I know we’re close, but that just makes the waiting even more intense…Can you tell me where Adrien’s comments will appear?
His comments will appear in the comments of the submission post. He’ll reply to each comment.
Brenda,
Thanks for hosting this event. As we supposed to respond to the reply from Adrien-Luc Sanders? There are some questions that are probably intended as tips rather than information seeking, but I want to answer if that’s expected.
There’s no need to answer. You’re correct, they’re intended as tips. I’m not sure Adrien will be back through the comments, anyway.
