I grew up as a tomboy hanging with the guys, getting skinned knees, watching wrestling, playing Spades, and swimming in the South Florida sun. I’m more inclined to wear dresses now than I was then, but I still prefer a good pair of chucks and a comfy pair of jeans. I have a terrible tendency to somehow always spill food on my clothes when I eat, which is bad news for both dresses and t-shirts. Apparently, there is an invisible hole in my lip.

Currently, I’m a lit student at FAU, a writer of romance with an element of danger, married to the greatest hubs on the planet, and mom of two fur kids. Storm is the ten-year-old dachshund (#adorabledistraction) and Crowley is the fourish-year-old (maybe-but-we’re-not-sure) American Akita. He needs a hashtag. I’ll add one when I decide what it shall be.

I’m also the the founder and host of Whiskey, Wine, & Writing, an online webcast and blog dedicated to the writing community as a whole.

Aside from that I love tattoos, Jack Daniels, penguins, and white tigers. If you show me a picture of Manu Bennett I will swoon, and I’m fairly certain that the size of my pen collection may be an indication of some sort of pen-hoarding problem.

I’m represented by Laura Bradford of The Bradford Literary Agency.
